what an interesting perspective. i am a person who deconstructed my Pentecostal beliefs until I couldn't stay in that. i moved into an Anglican (episcopal) stage of life, but i was firmly rolling towards the door. and at forty, I left Christianity altogether. i look back on this, and realize that i was deconstructing before it became common parlance in the religious world. that said, while I was deconstructing, I was also in university studying politics and human rights, so that was a reconstructing of my actions. in the absence of my voice in the evangelical world (i started on a path that included a bachelor's of theology), the way was paved for the loudest voices to influence those who had been left behind. so while i've moved beyond the pale, and there is no returning for me, I am glad that there are people like you who remain to challenge the Christian status quo.
